What you will do

In this vital role the Senior Manager, Contracts and Pricing Execution (CPE) is a key member of the Contract Analytics, Pricing and Execution (CAPE) team within US Value and Access. The CAPE team is responsible for the commercial and government pricing and contracting activities for a book of business in excess of $20 billion annually.
The CPE team is responsible for timely and accurate implementation of discounts for contracted customers at Amgen which includes ensuring compliance against applicable Commercial contracts, validating and processing data from multiple sources including third parties, disputing and resolving data discrepancies, calculating contract performance and adhering to Amgen’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reporting requirements. This position will be responsible for managing a team of analysts dedicated to the Payer space and will guide the team through the evolving landscape to ensuring Amgen’s success in the Commercial Healthcare Market.
Partner with Contract Development, Market Access, CAPE, IS Business Analysts, Coverage and Pricing, and others to assess and influence discount design to ensure operational feasibility within Amgen's commercial contract payment systems and determine impact to existing resources or business processes

Doctorate and 2 years of Project Management/transaction processing operations/leadership experience
Master’s degree and 6 years of Project Management/transaction processing operations/leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Project Management/transaction processing operations/leadership experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Project Management/transaction processing operations/leadership experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management/transaction processing operations/leadership experience
In addition to meeting at least one of the above requirements, you must have a minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation or resources. Your managerial experience may run concurrently with the required technical experience referenced above
