3rd Party Order and Supply management of Hosur manufactured engines of 1100 series and 2000 series by closely working with the sales teams within India as well as with rest of the world SMSP Sales teams, Accounts managers, demands managers and other global teams related with sales and marketing like TLM etc., and with the CAT dealers & Account managers for the domestic, Marine, Industrial and Fire pumps requirements.
In this role, you need to work closely with Account managers, Account execu‐tives, Sales managers and with Demand & Orders team support them with the consists and quotes work with Commercial teams get orders in the PROS and then work with supply chain team for registering the orders in Hosur or‐der system, get the RTS dates and communicate to the customer and in case of allocation, allocate the available engines to the distributors and Genset OEMs accordingly. This job role must communicate with both the Perkins teams and with the CAT Industrial Sales team. This also has to collaborate with both the Perkins Commercial team and with CAT commercial teams lo‐cated in Peterborough and in Mossville USConsolidate the enquiries received, check the availability of slots, get the lead time from Supply chain, FDI and communicate with the sales team for them to take orders and place those orders on Hosur , once the order is re‐ceived this role needs to collaborate with the supply chain team in Hosur for making the supply happen on the committed dates. After the engines are ready on the RTS dates, it needs to work with the TLM team and ensure that the necessary transportation is arranged and shipped to the right destination This role also needs to develop monthly S&OP meetings with the sales teams and work on the Step 3 and Step4 numbers and communicate to the Hosur leadership team in weekly profitable growth and in the monthly facility S&OP meetings. Develop monthly, Quarterly and Annual revenue planning and col‐laborate with the facility BR in proper communication during ABP and RBM updates Communicate. Ensure multi-channel communication throughout the organi‐zation. This includes keeping the NPI & Commercial manager informed of status and ensuring coordination of activities with other partners. Also, this includes capturing business intelligence, competitive updates and the market happening that can be used for proper strategy development and for tactical actions from both product group and from the facility side.
Provide quantitative data indicating the sales revenue, profits, volumes, de‐mands capacity constraints, including any other quantitative factors which describe the scope of the 3rd Party sales operation.Must be a results-oriented person who should also act as a change agent who should also be an effective business systems thinker. Must be able to manage risk and ambiguity and should be able to run if required some 6 Sigma projects to improve business regarding regional focus, market based specific approach
Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics) and Master’s in business administration is preferred. 10+ years of professional level experience. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Should have project management skills, team leadership skills, and good communication skills. Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Product groups, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Accounting, must have the ability to learn and have basic computer skills including CBS and in Excel and PowerPoint presentations. Black belt certification will be an added advantage.
