Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage weekly CPFR calls with three retailers working alongside the SCM team.

  • Set up Monthly planning meetings with Internal and external stakeholder groups.

  • Work with the channel team to deliver overall marketing excellence within the specific accounts

  • Work closely on supporting our digital strategy & SOV within the account in close alignment with the channel marketing team

  • Work with Finance teams to ensure account (where applicable) is managed within Samsung strict finance guidelines

  • Product knowledge to be maintained at Expert level using internal training resources

  • Complete weekly/monthly/quarterly performance and turnover reports for your accounts in the format requested

  • Upon request create or supply presentations or business background reports for your nominated accounts to support MBR/QBR meetings

  • When required assist colleagues by covering during absence and completing essential tasks

  • Create and deliver upon an annual development plan set in accordance with Samsung training and development rules and guidelines

    • An understanding of P&L and return on investment dynamics is preferable in relation to how they influence the overall profitability of a National account

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • A proven ‘people person’ with the ability to develop strong business relationships both internally & externally with required team members

    • An attitude to bring solutions to problems in order to meet targets

    • Strong commercial aculity and experience developed in market leading organisations

  • Hard Skills:

    • National/key Account Management experience with documented success over at least 2 years (NOT essential that the candidate is from the industry)

    • Proven history of demand planning/sales forecasting/account planning

    • Must be highly proficient at Excel & PowerPoint

    • Previous experience with Digital retailing preferred

What does success look like?

  • Achievement of specific monthly/quarterly & annual sales metrics by value & volume for the accounts

  • To achieve the above within the strategic channel strategy laid out by TV/AV SEUK

  • To support both sales leadership & the PM team in developing our strategic approach overall & specific go to market strategies where applicable

  • Support the Senior NAM’s & CMM’s to develop the retailer strategy for the specific nominated National accounts

  • Support delivery of National account critical focus areas (JBP/Account plan/P&L/Forecasting/aligned Sales & Channel Marketing plan)

  • Ensure support as required against annual/quarterly/monthly/weekly planning cycles to ensure they are fully delivered as required & aligned to each nominated National account
