We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our product strategy, roadmap and product execution. You will be building innovative solutions using flash storage technologies and software.

This role requires a seasoned professional who combines technical knowledge with strategic vision and business acumen.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Partner with key customers to gather insights, refine product features, and address technical challenges.
  • Support sales with technical and product expertise
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, support and marketing teams to ensure alignment of technical features and capabilities with market needs.
  • Provide technical information and advice to hardware and software engineering teams, and develop and maintain product requirement documents.
  • Conduct market analysis to guide product development and positioning.
  • Assess market needs and prioritize product capabilities based on data-driven insights.
  • Define and refine product pricing strategy and GTM.
  • Understanding of flash memory technologies, compute and storage hardware and software, networking, data center architectures, and workload use cases. 
  • Expertise with current industry standards and technologies such as NVMe, PCIe, Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and encryption.
  • Experience with enterprise workloads such as mission critical DBs, ERP, HCM, virtual environments. 
  • Develop and maintain robust product roadmaps that reflect customer needs, market trends, and strategic priorities.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of features and capabilities according to the product roadmap.
  • Leverage strong problem-solving skills to make informed decisions despite incomplete information.
  • Maintain a clear vision and strategic direction while navigating uncertain conditions and executing on tactical needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience. 
  • 8+  years of relevant experience in product management or engineering roles, specifically within the field of data storage or related technologies.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise and hyperscale compute and storage infrastructure is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Effective presentation skills for internal and external executive audiences.
  • Proven product leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives and influence cross-functional teams to drive results.

You will be based in Santa Clara. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: USD $190,000.00 - USD $284,000.00 Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
