Technical Manager Digital Banking – Madrid, Spain 

We are seeking an innovative Technical Manager to lead and manage a team in the Digital Banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital banking solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills and a passion for driving digital transformation in the financial services industry.

As a Digital Banking Technical Manager, you will pursue the implementation of our digital banking capabilities, ensuring that our technology meets the evolving needs of our customers. 

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, secure, and user-friendly digital banking experiences. Your mission will be to enhance customer satisfaction, drive digital adoption and maintain a competitive edge in the market through innovative technology solutions. 

  

Role Responsibilities 

·       Lead the technical team providing direction, mentorship, and support. 

·       Oversee the design, development, and deployment of digital banking platform and applications. 

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to define technology strategy and roadmap. 

·       Prioritize the backlog items based on value. 

·       Ensure the development team focuses on the most important tasks. 

·       Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital banking initiatives. 

·       Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the technical team. 

·       Translating product managers’ strategies to tasks for development. 

  

Role Requirements 

·       A degree in Computer Science or related fields. 

·       A minimum of 4+ years of experience in building business critical products and launching them on the market, although candidates with other relevant experience will be considered. 

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively. 

·       Proven leadership skills for leading teams and facilitating problem-solving. 

·       Ability to communicate updates concisely to leaders at all levels. 

·       Skilled in executing strategic roadmaps across organizations to deliver planned results. 

·       Strong ability to lead, manage and motivate cross-functional teams, think creatively, and act with agility. 

·       Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
