THE ROLE

As PlayOn’s Growth Product Manager, you’ll be part of a team that will establish and transform the organization’s practice around testing and growth. This role reports to the SVP of Product Management and collaborates with the company’s executive leadership. The Growth Product Manager will be responsible for driving user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of growth levers, user behavior, and data analytics to develop and execute initiatives that fuel our product’s growth.
 
As part of the Product Management Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an extremely passionate and supportive team focused on building market-leading, innovative solutions. We follow an Agile process to iteratively drive important business outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, prioritize, and implement high-impact growth initiatives across the streaming and digital ticketing businesses to drive user acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has experience establishing a growth team and culture as well as experience in a data analytics or data science role, with the ability to create insights that drive business growth. As this is a new role to the company, you will be responsible for establishing how the team will interact with the organization, prioritize, and define hypotheses, and communicate results in a way that drives the business forward.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align growth strategies with product development and go-to-market efforts. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives. Work with product management to define and prioritize the growth-focused product roadmap. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of priorities and results.
Product Roadmap and Prioritization: Lead the development lifecycle of experimentation, from ideation and design to deployment and continuous improvement. Prepare and communicate product roadmaps for internal visibility and alignment
Market and User Research: Conduct market research and data analysis to inform hypotheses and ensure tests meet user needs and market demand. Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Partner with B2B and B2C Teams to develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics and provide regular reports on growth performance. Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging growth strategies. Apply best practices and innovative approaches to drive continuous improvement.


THE PERSON

·  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
·  Proven experience (3+ years) in product management, with a focus on growth marketing or a related role 
·  Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel). Ability to derive insights from complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
·  A Growth Mindset: A deep understanding of growth tactics, including A/B testing, funnel optimization, virality, and paid acquisition. Experience with growth frameworks such as AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Funnel Conversion, Revenue, Referral).
·  Collaborative team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
·  Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Roadmaps). 
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. 
·  Experience in a product technology company. Ideally in Media or Streaming.
