About the team and the role:
 

The Advertising Team is reinventing advertising at eBay! We’re crafting innovative ad-tech solutions to optimize the ad monetization and experience on eBay. Our goal is to build a valuable experience for both buyers and sellers, while also driving performance for advertisers. 

To that end, we are innovating rapidly in the ad-tech space and there is no shortage of new challenges for motivated individuals.



 

What you will accomplish:

  • Identify partnership and business development opportunities with Brands that are consistent with the eBay Ads strategy

  • Define terms, negotiate and execute deals in complex situations

  • Define key metrics for success

  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams at eBay to ensure partner success

     

What you will bring:

  • Experience in digital media, with a focus on client direct relationships

  • Distinctive creative, strategic and analytical capabilities with a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable metrics.

  • Deep understanding of search, display, ad-tech, and other media issues

  • Strong working relationship with consumer-facing product and engineering teams, ideally within the advertising space

  • Demonstrable experience to thrive in a highly matrixed and multilayered environment; executive presence

  • German native speaker and fluent in English
