Team/Role Overview

This is a role within the expanding Funds Operations programme management office, which supports the Funds Services Ops Readiness & Project Delivery teams in the delivery of internal, mandatory, strategic and client strategic change initiatives.  The team is part of the Funds Services Operations function within Securities Services and will interact closely with partners in Operations, Product, Technology, Account Management and Sales to ensure operational readiness and excellence in project delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Change Delivery PMO, quality control and governance framework and processes, compliant with client and with Citi project management governance.
  • Reports on and oversees the total portfolio of Funds Operations projects and initiatives and in particular the key critical projects
  • Resolves complex governance problems, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes.
  • Full ownership for one or more governance and program management office processes, reports, procedures or projects
  • Measures project management performance against standards.
  • Monitors projects staffing levels and costs.
  • Contributes or leads creation and/or maintenance of portfolio management tools and platforms (incl. tooling for Project Managers, Business Analysts etc.)
  • Partners with cross function peers to create, administer, track, and eventually close portfolios of programs
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

What we’ll need from you

  • Sufficient experience in PMO or project management, primarily in financial services
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and best practices
  • Experience in creation and maintenance of project management office frameworks incl. experience with book of work management and reporting platforms
  • Experience in interaction at senior management level of businesses
  • Broad understanding of business practices
  • Demonstrates capacity to work in highly pressured & volatile environments.
