How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Fortify our supply chain resilience by rigorously assessing, mitigating, and continually monitoring supplier risk while ensuring strategic alignment and adherence to quality standards

Accountabilities & related Activities

1. Strategic Qualification for Cost Competitiveness

  • Alternate Source Vetting: Act as the operational link between Category Managers, Sourcing Specialists and Suppliers to collect necessary data for "Alternate Source" qualification process.

  • Gap Analysis Execution: Support the "Gap Analysis" by identifying compliance barriers for new low-cost market entrants and coordinating their resolution.

  • Queue Management: Prioritize qualification queues for Gas Products, Transport, and Equipment based on business urgency

2. Supplier Quality & Risk Management (SQM)

  • Due diligence (DD): Collaborate with applicable stakeholders to perform/coordinate for suppliers in line with the Air Liquide Process.

  • Risk Mitigation: Monitor supply chain risks and trigger contingency qualification workflows for single-source failures  in line with the Air Liquide Process.

3. The Approval Process & Compliance

  • Approval Workflow: Manage the end-to-end supplier approval process, ensuring all gates are cleared before registration.

  • Documentation Review: Arrange to execute applicable due diligence on financial and legal documents to validate vendor legitimacy.

4. Performance Monitoring & Development

  • Scorecard Administration: Administer the quarterly performance review process for the alternate sourcing objectives, collecting data on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Innovation (QCDI).

  • NC Tracking: Drive the "Close-out" of Non-Conformities (NCs) identified during audits by following up with suppliers on corrective actions.

Expected Competencies

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemica/othersl) or Supply Chain Management.

 

Training or certification

 Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferred)

Discipline: Engineering - Quality Assurance - Procurement

Work experience: 4 to 7 years in Supplier Quality, Procurement, or Strategic Sourcing. (Industrial Gas/Chemical/Heavy Industry preferred).

Foreign language: English

Level: Fluent

Knowledge and Knowhow specific to the job
