The Logistics Coordinator will work under the direction of the Logistics Manager, working to streamline logistics operations. In Logistics we are always looking to drive down transportation costs and reduce average transit time worldwide. Utilizing resources, root cause analysis, research, and an overall sense of urgency to assist in planning, freight management, and invoice reconciliation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Logistics team and other departments by helping align logistics operations with business needs to improve overall results.
• Collaborate with key business partners to align logistics operations with strategic goals, driving growth and maximizing efficiency.
• Audit shipping and freight invoices to identify errors, confirm rate accuracy, and support cost control efforts.
• Assist Logistics Manager with carrier management and compliance programs.
• Assisting the Logistics Manager with various operational tasks, gaining hands-on experience in logistics planning, execution, and performance tracking.
• Utilization of internal invoice systems to identify, code, and resolve freight invoice discrepancies.
• Track and report freight invoice discrepancies by carrier, forwarder.
• Utilize historical shipping data to analyze shipping lanes and identify efficiency opportunities.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and carriers
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience auditing, coding, and managing detailed freight invoices
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
