SUMMARY
The Sales Director - Insurance Channel is responsible for overseeing all sales activities within the APAC region including developing and executing sales strategies and building relationships with key customers and stakeholders, while working closely with the Incident Response (IR) teams. The Sales Director – Insurance Channel requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving sales success and achieving revenue targets.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets of over $3M annually in the first year and maximize market share within the APAC region
- Develops and implements strategic sales plan to achieve in the first year a 25% market share of the cyber claims in India
- Builds and implements the expansion strategy for the Insurance channel business in other markets in the APAC region
- Establishes and maintains strong partnerships with the insurance broker/carrier/reinsurer/Surveyors and data/privacy firm channels to enhance sales opportunities and client satisfaction
- Enhances relationships with partners through thought leadership and education
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IR, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Monitors market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Utilizes Customer Relationship Management and Project Management systems for documenting sales efforts and activities within the insurance broker/carrier and data/privacy firm channels
- Establishes recognition as an external and internal expert and thought leader with deep and substantive technical expertise as well as advanced business knowledge and leadership capabilities
- Provides regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, including analysis of sales performance and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborates with the Sales team and Marketing to create winning proposals and presentations
- Recommends and implements strategies and develops operational plans/goals with a direct impact on the achievement of functional strategies
- Acts as a subject matter expert on our business segments and processes
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales processes, team growth strategies, training to enhance productivity, and improve customer engagement
- Mentors and motivates the internal teams to drive performance and exceed sales goals by providing knowledge-sharing, counseling, and training

- Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment and attitude
- Analytical skill to analyze the market trends, Competition performance, sales performance, and key metrics like CAC, LTV, ARR, etc for the insurance channel
- Ability to use CRM to bring a data-driven approach to the sales organization
- Proven experience in the cyber solutions and insurance market with demonstrated knowledge of key competitors, trends, and customer needs
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field and 15+ years related experience or Master’s degree and 12+ years related experience
- Master of Business Administration preferred
- Willing to travel within the region and occasionally nationally or internationally as required
