The opportunity:

Our Head of Vitality's purpose is to align the Vitality programme with AIA’s vision of helping customers live longer, healthier, and better lives.

You will accomplish this by ensuring the programme creates lasting shared value for customers, distribution partners, and AIA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting strategic objectives for the AIA Vitality programme in the New Zealand market

  • Crafting a market strategy to ensure the AIA Vitality programme meets its strategic goals

  • Developing regular performance reports to track the programme's success and proactively identify improvement opportunities

  • Leading a cross-functional team to manage the AIA Vitality proposition, including refining programme design, selecting partners, setting pricing, and driving member engagement

  • Overseeing risk management related to the AIA Vitality programme

  • Identifying and leading the execution of AIA Vitality-related campaigns

  • Collaborating with the Pricing and Actuarial teams to analyse evidence of shared value and adjust the AIA Vitality programme and product offerings in response to emerging trends.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in life or health insurance

  • Strong communication skills coupled with excellent stakeholder management capabilities

  • Proven track record in product development and execution

  • Leadership experience in managing high-performing teams

  • Strong influencing and persuasion skills

  • Familiarity with the Vitality programme or a similar initiative (preferred).
