Build the future of data. Join the Snowflake team.

Snowflake is experiencing exponential growth and we are expanding our public relations team to help us scale. We are looking for a Product PR Specialist with a passion for communications and technology to develop and manage PR programs that showcase the unique innovations and teams driving the AI Data Cloud forward.

This role demands a skilled collaborator with a good understanding of B2B technology and an ability to distill complex technology concepts into simple language. The Product PR Specialist will report directly to Snowflake’s Senior Product PR Lead, helping spearhead major product launch moments, drive PR strategies for key product workloads, work cross-functionally with various marketing and product teams to identify proactive storytelling opportunities, and more. This individual will ideally bring fresh ideas, smart questions, and an entrepreneurial spirit to how we communicate our product, technology, and customer stories to audiences. A demonstrated track record of executing successful public relations campaigns in the enterprise software space is a must. We are looking for someone who shares our values, challenges ordinary thinking, and pushes the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.

AS THE PRODUCT PR SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:

  • Serve as a key member of the global corporate communications team, bringing collaborative ideas and strong execution to broaden Snowflake’s product storytelling.
  • Support Snowflake’s platform and unified data foundation pillar from a strategic communications lens, inclusive of its security and governance capabilities, competitive price performance, interoperable storage, and more.
  • Partner with Snowflake product leadership and executives to identify and pursue tier-one media opportunities, bylines, and speaking engagements.
  • Drive customer PR initiatives to highlight how leading organizations are harnessing Snowflake’s unified platform to revolutionize their industries and optimize performance.
  • Build, maintain, and value positive relationships with business and tech media, influencers, and analysts.
  • Work closely with analyst relations, content marketing, customer marketing, demand generation, product marketing, social media, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute public relations plans to support Snowflake’s products and technologies.
  • Represent the communications and PR team in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment around business objectives and to advance broader company initiatives.
  • Brainstorm unique stories and programs that spotlight Snowflake’s innovation through product launches and day-to-day PR activities.
  • Write press releases, blogs, pitches, and other collateral as assigned.
  • Drive PR reporting to showcase key results to Snowflake’s executive team, taking a data-driven approach to improving initiatives and pivoting strategies.
  • Assist in managing Snowflake’s PR agency teams.

OUR IDEAL PRODUCT PR SPECIALIST WILL HAVE:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in communications, with a strong preference for candidates that have some experience working in product PR for enterprise software/technology, either in-house or with an agency.
  • Ability to understand and translate technology into public relations strategies, messaging, and compelling stories.
  • Excellent written communicator with an understanding of how to create content that reaches multiple audiences across paid, earned, and owned channels.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with media and influencers.
  • Solid organizational skills: proven capability to manage everything from strategy to details of day-to-day program execution.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly growing and fast-paced corporate environment.
  • A team player with a history of execution and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

This role requires remote and in-office work at our preferred San Mateo, CA office.
