Pay Details:

$160,000 - $220,000 USD

Job Description:

The Head of CCUL Partner Engagement leads the portfolio marketing activities for our Credit Card Partners to include defining the tools and capabilities needed and building out of the marketing strategy and team to execute on growth goals.  This role serves as a subject matter expert in new account acquisitions across multiple channels.  The role also builds out the capabilities to serve as the Center of Excellence for Partner Engagement for TD's Co-branded Card business.

Depth & Scope:

  • Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
  • Stands up partner engagement function to transition entire function currently outsourced to the card partner to TD
  • Scales function to support partner growth as well as achieve future cobrand growth aspirations
  • Builds capabilities, operating model and muscle to achieve targets
  • Uses critical thinking and creative problem solving to drive differentiation and partner/customer retention
  • Leads the creation and implementation of strategic plans for partner acquisitions and engagement across digital and brick and mortar channels
  • Forecasts, monitors and adheres to budgets and operates within profitability hurdles
  • Provides oversight of agencies and partners delivering SOWs and fulfilling tactics
  • Understands and ensures team delivers against contractual commitments
  • Collaborates with executives at the partner to develop annual strategy and execution plan Responsible for leading a strong, dedicated marketing team to ensure success and growth of sales and balances
  • Works effectively across matrixed organization
  • Partners closely with Partner product teams to optimize the full funnel from awareness through the application and approval
  • Develops robust test/learn strategies and optimizes relentlessly using data and analytics
  • Partners closely with Risk and Analytics at TD and partners to develop propensity approvability models
  • Hires, develops and retains great talent
  • Inspires followership by crafting an inspirational vision and provides the resources and tools to achieve growth aspirations

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years in marketing, loyalty and/or product role in consumer revolving credit (credit cards preferred)
  • Must have experience developing strategies and tactics to deliver revenue
  • Experience with full scale, multi-channel optimization
  • Understands credit cards compliance environment to ensure all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines are met
  • Exceptional leadership and forward thinking skills
  • Results-driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinker; ability to develop a cohesive, long-term vision and drive it to execution
  • Ability to create and foster a strong team culture and to promote a positive work environment for all employees
