Team Overview
Join our forward-thinking technology team as a Specialist Software Quality Engineer, where you will be at the forefront of driving quality in our software solutions. Role Responsibilities
- Independently manage and oversee the quality assurance lifecycle for multiple high-impact projects.
- Implement and align company strategy within your team, influencing and contributing to broader organizational goals.
- Take charge of day-to-day client and vendor relationships, including fee and contract negotiations.
- Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and cases, both manual and automated.
- Demonstrate mastery in multiple software testing languages and frameworks, including Java, Selenium, and Python.
- Author and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for testing processes.
- Drive the adoption of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices, leading efforts to automate testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues in collaboration with development, client support, and infrastructure teams.
- Oversee and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation evaluations.
- Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers, with a significant role in hiring and project management.
- Proactively seek opportunities for personal and team development, engaging in relevant training and professional growth activities.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, maintaining credibility and a positive attitude.
- Manage change efficiently, ensuring team performance in ambiguous and challenging situations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple areas, engaging with third parties and clients on specialized testing tasks.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in software quality engineering and project management.
- Proficiency in multiple software testing languages and frameworks such as Java, Selenium, Python, with extensive knowledge in enterprise-level technologies.
- Strong experience working with RESTful API services and automated testing tools.
- Advanced skills in SQL for database and performance testing tasks.
- Extensive experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JMeter, K6, and TestNG.
- Proven experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and negotiate client and vendor relationships.
- Experience in development within agile methodology, including the use of CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience with mentoring others.
- Advanced understanding of code management and task management tools like GIT, JIRA.
- Ability to independently manage complex tasks and projects, showing strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage change and maintain performance in ambiguous situations.
- Experience in the financial services industry is highly desired
