We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Advisory team at Marsh. This role will be based in NYC. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Client Advisor, you will independently manage a portfolio of large and complex clients, leading the development and execution of risk and insurance strategies that align to their business priorities. You will collaborate closely with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives to deliver tailored solutions, drive renewals, and support new business growth. We will count on you to:

  • Independently oversee and manage large or complex accounts and bring the broader client team together to formulate procedures and go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ business strategies, risk appetite, and risk management needs to provide informed advice and solutions.
  • Use expert risk and industry knowledge to review client exposures and loss experience, developing solutions for complex needs and recommending additional products and services as appropriate.
  • Develop, present, and oversee the execution of renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with Placement, Advisory Leaders, and Client Executives across relevant zones.
  • Present to prospective clients, identify needs for new products, and propose innovative solutions to win new clients and projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, oversee the production of client deliverables, and ensure high-quality final placements are delivered.

What you need to have:

  • Significant experience in insurance, brokerage, or risk advisory, managing large or complex commercial client accounts.
  • Strong technical knowledge of risk, coverage, and the insurance marketplace, with proven experience developing placement and renewal strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in client-facing roles with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and manage senior-level relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable advice.

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $154,200 to $328,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
