Job Summary:

The Courier - Virtual Care @ Home performs all functions necessary to assist in delivering of patients' medications, meals, and medical equipment in a safe, efficient, and friendly manner. This position will be expected to deliver medications and meals directly to the
patient's residence from the hospital and also assist with all other day-to-day duties as assigned in the Virtual Care at Home - AUMC department.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Delivers medications directly to patient's residence via Wellstar MCG owned vehicle in an accurate and timely
manner.
Delivers meals directly to patient's residence via Wellstar MCG owned vehicle in an accurate and timely
manner.
Help with delivery or pick-up of medical equipment and/or remote monitoring equipment to patients' residence via Wellstar MCG owned vehicle in an accurate and timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma General or GED General

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

• PHT - Registered Pharmacy Tech
• GADL - Georgia Driver's License or VSDL - Valid State Driver's License

Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

CPHT - Cert Pharmacy Tech Upon Hire Preferred
CMA - Cert Medical Assistant Upon Hire Preferred

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 3 years in pharmacy or pharmacy delivery service. Preferred

Required Minimum Skills:

Strong communication, organization, time management, and decision making skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
