Position Summary You will join Global MSAT to support sustainability work across our global manufacturing science and technology community. You will help shape the sustainability roadmap, track performance, and support training and networks. We value curiosity, practical problem solving, clear communication, and a collaborative attitude. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Help identify and prioritise sustainability projects for the Global MSAT roadmap. - Support development of performance dashboards and regular sustainability reporting. - Reconnect and grow a community of sustainability subject-matter experts and communities of practice across MSAT. - Help design and roll out a sustainability training programme for Global MSAT, aligned with central sustainability teams. - Learn to use eco-design and carbon footprint assessment tools and act as a local reference for those tools. - Support sustainability assessments for agreed projects, products or programmes and present findings. Who you will work with You will partner with Global MSAT colleagues across countries, central sustainability teams, and local site teams. Expect to work with project owners, engineers, and training leads. You will report to the Global MSAT sustainability lead and be supported by experienced coaches. The role is collaborative and cross-functional. Why this role matters You will help embed sustainable ways of working into the systems that support product development and manufacturing. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals - You are enrolled in a Master’s programme in Business Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. - You speak English and French; strong written and verbal communication in both is required. - You have a clear interest in environmental sustainability applied to industrial settings. - You have good analytical skills and experience with Excel or similar data tools. - You can work in a hybrid model based in Belgium and attend site or office days as required. - The internship must be part of your curriculum and supported by an agreement signed by you, your educational institution and GSK. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus - Study modules or a certificate in corporate sustainability, environmental management, or CSR. - Familiarity with carbon footprinting, life cycle assessment, or eco-design tools. - Previous project work or internship experience in manufacturing, engineering, or sustainability roles. - Experience building dashboards or reporting frameworks using common tools. - Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills. - Comfortable learning new technical tools and translating findings for non-technical audiences. Work arrangements This internship is hybrid. You will be based in Belgium and expected to attend the office and sites when required by the role. Start date and duration will follow your academic schedule. The internship must be part of your mandated curriculum and supported by a signed agreement between you, your school, and GSK.
