Job Summary:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the ServiceNow platform through design, configuration, reporting, end-user training, and support. This role will partner with the IT Teams and business stakeholders to establish a best-in-class employee experience. You will be expected to understand the needs of our internal clients/stakeholders and technical needs of the platform with the objective of delivering solutions that will allow our business to manage work more efficiently and meet the overall goals of the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Administrating the workflows on the software, implementing new systems or add-ons, helping with problem resolution, and testing systems for efficiency.
  • Develop test cases for functional, UAT testing, resolution of reported defects and perform integration testing using sample data.
  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Assists with report configuration and maintenance, as needed.
  • Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off-the-shelf application or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow configurations.
  • Performs System and integration testing with sample/live data with Support Services team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization.
  • Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly.
  • Knowledge of Safe or Scrum Agile to track stories and tasks associated with the goals to deliver value.
  • Proven ability to set up ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, sophisticated UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts to meet needs.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow Flow Designer.
  • Creation of script-based Assignment and Approval rule.
  • Knowledge of scoped applications versus update sets.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 2-years ServiceNow platform experience
  • Experience with JavaScript/GLIDE and HTML.
  • Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs & Best Practices
  • Demonstrated experience with at least two ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, FSO, Workflow Automation etc).
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and/or Integration Hub to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems.
  • Workspace Experience, nice to have.
  • Employee Center Experience, nice to have.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
