The role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building the technology that empowers our customers to move forward with confidence. You’ll help create intuitive, secure and scalable systems — working across the stack and with passionate people who genuinely care about what we’re building and who we’re building it for. 

You’ll bring product ideas to life — building applications that make it easier for small businesses to access the tools and funding they need to succeed. You’ll be working in a modern, microservices-based environment and collaborating with product, design and engineering teammates to create experiences that are simple, fast and reliable.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering product features with quality, care and attention to detail 
• Taking ownership of technical problems and solving them independently 
• Getting to the root of issues and putting long-term solutions in place 
• Trying out new tools and techniques — and sharing what you learn with others 
• Ensuring systems are well monitored, observable and secure 
• Keeping security and customer privacy top of mind throughout the SDLC 
• Contributing to a team culture that values impact, collaboration and continuous improvement 

What you'll need to succeed

• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework/Core and React with TypeScript (including hooks and component-based architecture) 
• Proven ability to integrate front-end applications with first- and third-party APIs 
• Understanding of modern software architecture patterns and microservices 
• Familiarity with accessibility standards across web and mobile 
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices 
• Proficient in Git and modern build tools (e.g. Webpack, npm) 
• A genuine passion for software development, with a strong focus on clean code, performance and security
