What You Will Do:

  • This position is a non-billable, full time business development position in Guidehouse State and Local Government. 

  • The person in this role is focused on sourcing, developing, and closing net new Workday services deals with the Guidehouse Technology Segment – Workday practice. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining a territory plan for applicable West territory

  • Captures information on competitive ERP modernization opportunities

  • Responsible for originating, building and closing Workday net new opportunities

  • Responsible for building, retaining, strengthening, and maintaining client relationships

  • Responsible for developing and driving marketing activities in the west states

  • Primarily prospects and closes Workday ERP opportunities for new clients in states, large cities, and large counties as well as applicable special districts and medium enterprise prospects focused in the Western US

  • Develops and maintains relationships with Workday sales reps

  • Understands Guidehouse service offerings in other areas (non-Workday) for benefit of existing clients and prospects

  • Attends conferences and marketing events relevant to optimization and automation of Backoffice (FINS and HCM) in state and local government and special districts

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College

  • A MINIMUM of TEN (10) years of relevant professional work experience with an emphasis on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Experience networking, marketing, developing and connecting to new net prospects

  • A MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of Workday services sales experience in State and Local government

  • Knowledge of Workday’s partner ecosystem and knowledge of Workday’s software offerings

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA

  • Ability to write sections of RFP responses and proposals

  • Experience cold calling and creating, managing marketing events to build sales pipeline

  • Preference will be given to those living in or near Guidehouse Offices in the Western US

The annual salary range for this position is $155,000.00-$259,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
