Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities

● Directs sales activities and programs working with sales management to attain sales targets, establish strategic business relations, creating and implementing strategic sales plans. The position identifies, structures, negotiates and closes innovative deals at a high level with a wide range of organizations. The position is responsible for signing new contracts, and is responsible for identifying new business, identifying optimal ways to work with customers, negotiating terms of relationships and contracts, and closing new business. Responsibilities include development and management of sales budgeting, business planning process, management of a full P&L, and QBR reporting responsibilities to ensure financial and other targets or goals are met or exceeded by sales team.

● Responsible for analyzing complex data and developing both short and long term strategic approach for the industry and product. Develops and oversees long-range sales strategies and go-to-market strategies for the Company. Responsible for ensuring that sales plans are executed not only through the sales organization but able to manage the matrixed functional area as well. Must be able to leverage executive level relationship outside of the line of business (LOB) and into other areas of Arrow.

● Oversees the strategic and sales objectives for their teams; creates tactical solutions to meet/exceed objectives. Creates vision for their team and executes through strategic direction and priorities; accountable for team performance. Actively enhances team through recruiting, hiring and creating personnel development plans.

● Recruits, hires and mentors top sales management staff. Works with other key members of sales, marketing, engineering, operations and HR management to develop pricing strategies, sales and marketing plans and promotional programs in order to achieve short and long-term objectives. Develops strategic relationships with customers and suppliers to help achieve Company objectives. Responsible for driving C-Level engagement with Arrow executive staff. Ensuring that mid-level team management is properly aligned with customer and supplier counterparts.

●This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.

Experience / Education

Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 12 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
