The Senior Compensation Analyst is a key player in analyzing and implementing the organization's compensation philosophy, programs, policies, and structures. You will be responsible for creating compensation analyses and models to understand our compensation program trends and opportunities better. You will be a key partner to our internal stakeholders (Business leaders, People Organization, Finance, Legal, etc.) to address compensation-related questions, concerns, regulations, and resolutions. Additionally, this role is critical in establishing and maintaining market-competitive compensation practices, both broad-based and sales incentive programs, that attract and retain growing talent.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Serve as the primary resource for compensation analyses globally, including but not limited to budget modeling, accruals, trend analysis, competitive benchmarking, custom research in response to evolving market trends, and People Business Partner and executive requests
Design and develop analytical models that assess the competitiveness and effectiveness of existing and proposed compensation programs. Conduct custom analyses and create executive-ready presentations with your findings and proposals. Support the Director of Compensation with advisory and research
Support market data benchmarking and pay equity practices, including but not limited to data submission, matching philosophy, external vendor optimization
Collaborate with Finance on matters such as compensation budgeting, accruals, and reconciliations, and contribute to responses to control functions (e.g., Audit, Legal, Risk) related to compensation
Support the broader compensation and executive compensation team on various projects and requests, including but not limited to modeling, benchmarking, and peer reviews
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 3 years of global broad-based Compensation experience in a public company
Advanced Excel skills and analytical capabilities
Proven self-starter with the ability to drive results
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Financial background (either via education or job experience)
Demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment with various new challenges
Highly proficient at adjusting to varying demands and multiple deliverables; can pivot quickly when change occurs
Ability to effectively communicate with employees and build strong working relationships with internal departments and outside vendors
Intellectual curiosity – a genuine desire to learn, grow and develop
