We have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Campaign Manager. In this role you will be responsible for development and delivery of appropriate customer communications and brand building activity to drive an increase in customer engagement. You will be responsible for designing, building and executing campaigns to support core business targets and goals around acquisition and retention, as well as building credibility and understanding of BGB products and solutions within our customer base and the wider market.

This is a multi-disciplined marketing position which plays a significant role in the marketing of BGB’s products and services in the business market.

The role is varied, with exposure across the business and will involve working closely with Sales and Retention, Product Development, Customer operations, Customer experience, Commercial and Group Marketing teams.

Location: With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them – meaning location doesn’t need to be a barrier. This role can be mostly based at home with occasional meetings required at our Centrica sites.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Create personalized GTM marketing strategies that can lead to increased sales, create a competitive position in the market and support our commercial & business goals
  • Campaign design and creation spanning a variety of channels relevant to meet the business objective - email, digital display, social, advertising, SMS 
  • Campaign delivery, reporting and ongoing optimisation
  • Preparation of customer facing marketing communications and content that simply and clearly communicate the features and benefits of our suite of products, support the brand and increase perception and loyalty
  • Marketing planning : Input to the marketing plan & strategy, working with other Marketing managers to develop strategies and tactics to promote the Brands products and services.
  • Work within the wider Centrica network to develop opportunities that align with our strategic goals

Who are we looking for?

  • Product marketing – Experience of creating compelling customer facing messaging and marketing materials for complex B2B solutions.
  • Marketing campaigns: Some experience of designing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns which demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customer and drive awareness and consideration, and the role content plays in this process.
  • B2B marketing –  Experience of delivering effective content marketing programmes within a complex B2B environment.
  • Commercial know-how: Managing for value, understand the external marketplace, understanding Centrica, understanding our Customers.
  • Customer journey: experience of using customer insights to understand the customer buying journey and how to influence behaviours at each stage.
