Keystone Human Services has an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory and Licensing Manager. This is a hybrid position, supporting operations in the Harrisburg, PA area.
The Regulatory & Licensing Manager position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring all regulatory and licensing activities for the organization. Licensing activities are inclusive of, but not limited to, developing plans of corrections with operators in response to violation, validating plan of correction completion, interfacing with oversight agencies and using compliance software to monitor trends in licensing to develop consistency in business process and response. Occasionally, this position will conduct audits and investigations into compliance related matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to
• Maintains a robust understanding of new and existing regulations and licensing requirements that may impact the organization.
• Actively promotes compliance at all levels of the organization.
• Conducts regular audits and reviews of policy and processes to identify and evaluate non-compliance issues and organizational risk.
• Maintains and manages data and files related to audits and compliance issues.
• Regularly reviews documentation to assess compliance.
• Assists in submission required reports and documentation to local, state, federal, and international agencies.
• Partners with internal stakeholders to assess and analyze audit findings to determine root causes of identified non-compliance issues and corrective action plans.
• Explains and clarifies regulations, procedures, and policies to all employees and stakeholders as necessary.
• In collaboration with compliance team, receives compliance issues and collaborates with other departments to direct concerns for investigation and resolution.
• Assists in developing responses and plans of correction to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a behavioral health or healthcare compliance, or experience in a dedicated human services compliance role or licensing is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information.
• Ability to professionally facilitate and navigate difficult discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to independently multi-task projects and prioritize high risk activities.
• Ability to learn and apply intermediate computer skills, including the use of software and other web-based systems.
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
• Valid driver’s license and required to have daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle.
