The Technical Solutions Consultant will provide advanced technical services and support for enterprise customers.  The position will be responsible for partnering with customers stakeholders to sustain and optimize deployed Stryker dynamical clinical workflow solutions.  This work includes collaborating with network, server, and support teams to successfully maintain critical infrastructure components, hardware, software, and end point devices.  This is a hybrid role with at least 3 to 5 days per week on-site at local customer facilities. You will be supporting Vocera and care.ai deployments at our customer sites, responsible for troubleshooting issues, maintaining optimal system configurations, and implementing best practices to ensure smooth operations, while also planning for future growth by seamlessly expanding into additional products and technologies.

What you will do:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners throughout the post-deployment lifecycle. 
  • Collaborate with customer administrators on system upgrades, configuration changes, and database updates. 
  • Manage and support deployed hardware assets, ensuring accurate inventory and repair processes. 
  • Provide robust end-user support by identifying and addressing issues with clear, closed-loop communication. 
  • Deliver on-site troubleshooting, resolution, and reporting of technical issues, working closely with Stryker customer support teams. 
  • Work with Stryker development and cloud teams to ensure GCP infrastructure is optimally configured for external connections. 
  • Collaborate with customer IT teams to configure devices, troubleshoot local network connectivity issues, and maintain site-to-site VPNs. 

What you need:

Required:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or 6 years of additional relevant work experience
  • 4 years of relevant experience in network services for healthcare organizations, including in-depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching protocols. 

Preferred:

  • Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred 
  • CCNA or equivalent enterprise network associate/specialist level certification
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including VPC, Cloud VPN, and Network Peering
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and software; audio/video streaming protocols and real-time communication challenges
  • Training or experience with Android and Linux OS networking configurations as well as IoT communication protocols and challenges
