Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough verification of transactions and associated documentation from a sanctions compliance perspective.
• Execute prompt and precise decisions following the completion of sanctions controls.
• Foster effective collaboration and daily communication with Citi branches and stakeholders across the globe.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other HUB teams, contributing to shared objectives and collective success.
• Proactively monitor and manage the portfolio of pending items, ensuring adherence to expected timeliness standards.
• Uphold and ensure the highest quality of work in strict accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Identify potential issues and accurately report them to relevant supervisors.
• Actively participate in or lead key projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in sanctions controls, additional experience related to areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Know Your Customer (KYC) will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of international sanctions restrictions, regulations, and sophisticated sanctions screening methodologies.
• Strong investigative acumen and superior analytical problem-solving skills.
• Client experience-oriented approach in all tasks.
• Proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Readiness to work in different work -shifts including public holidays on rotational basis.
