Job Description Summary:
Consult with Project Teams to review and analyze entitlement
positions with regards to schedule delays and productivity impacts and review subcontractor claim positions for accuracy and contract compliance.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Able to perform all essential Schedule/Cost Analyst responsibilities
- Train field personnel in scheduling procedures
- Compile data to support Claims Analysis
- Analyze project documentation, contracts and subcontracts
- Prepare charts and graphs to support claim analysis
- Support forensic schedule analysis for detailed cause and effect claim presentations
- Support calculation of Contractor damages resulting from project delays, disruptions, and acceleration
- Participate in preparing claims for meditation
- Prepare project specific recovery/acceleration schedules as required under Contract
- Perform system administrator functions related to P6 EPPM
- Provide instructional design support and conduct training for end users of P6 EPPM
- Develop baseline contract schedules with project team and support scheduled updates
- Regularly travel (local and inter-state) to project sites and other Swinerton offices (approximately 4 days/month)
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of field construction or scheduling experience, with 1+ years in Construction Claims required
- Experience using Primavera P6
- Knowledge of construction means and methods, management techniques and cost accounting principles.
- Delay and disruption claim preparation assembly experience including:
- Critical path method scheduling and analysis experience
- Exposure to Delay damage calculation experience
- Exposure to Delay Entitlement narrative writing experience
- Ability to prepare and deliver verbal presentations in MS Powerpoint environment
- Experience in construction industry strongly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Access)
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner
- Reliability, dependability, and flexibility
