Who We're Looking For:

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player and demonstrate skill and compassion. Must have at least 2 years of technician experience to be considered. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the veterinarian in providing quality care to our animal patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to multitask and excel in communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

*The pay rate for this position is $15.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, licensure, and certifications. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or animal clinic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of animal care and behavior
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in computer skills and medical record-keeping software
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Experience in:

- Assisting veterinarians in examinations, procedures, and surgeries

- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians

- Maintaining accurate medical records and updating patient files

- Educating clients on animal care, nutrition, and treatment plans

- Performing laboratory tests and analyzing results

- Preparing animals for surgery and monitoring anesthesia during procedures

- Cleaning and maintaining equipment, instruments, and exam rooms

- Providing compassionate care to our patients and their owners
