Job Description:
The Citigold/Citigold Private Client Banking Segmentation Program Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.
The Wealth Continuum segments team is seeking a highly effective and innovative Vice President to help lead the Citigold and Citigold Private Client segmentation strategy. Responsibilities will include managing overall client’s segmentation including client movement, engagement, experience, and wallet share deepening. In this role the candidate will help drive and manage the short- and long-term strategic segmentation roadmap by identifying opportunities and drivers for growth.
Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
As the strategy lead analyze and asses the Citigold/CPC client portfolio for growth opportunities with a clear focus on client deepening, onboarding, and engagement processes.
Managing end-to-end Impact to wealth banking segments (Citigold/Citigold Private Clients) by tracking client movement and net transfers to wealth ensuring healthy portfolio qualification levels.
Drive for wealth segments net new assets through client conversions.
Triage & raise any key risks/ issues, escalations, enhancements in production around client segmentation.
Manage & facilitate all senior leadership updates for Citigold and Citigold Private Client segmentation on a regular basis.
Working as a lead with marketing stakeholders to actively deploy campaigns focused on engaging clients for deepening opportunities, along with new to bank offers with a focus on wealth banking clients.
Work closely with the analytics, marketing, and vendor teams for an enhancement roadmap for accelerated client movement to wealth via digital journeys around target segments (far from eligible, close to eligible existing bank clients)
Planning, and coordination of day-to-day activities of running critical projects under the segmentation program
Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders to ensure consensus of key decisions and prioritization of deliverables
Oversee and help define and measure outcomes of projects via OKR's and KPIs while ensuring data driven decision making
Help Identify risks/problems by working with technology and operations to ensure day to day client escalations with client segmentation impact are being addressed in a timely manner under the segmentation program
Ensure projects roadmap aligns to overall program strategy, bring industry knowledge, and aims to deliver best in class strategic solutions CG/CPC segmentation growth and transformation efforts
Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and requires basic commercial awareness
Help lead cross- functional team of subject matter experts including product partners, marketing, and broader wealth teams for strategic campaigns around growth
Escalates program risks to the Program Director, or Program Sponsor, when appropriate. Directs area supported through responsibility for delivery of end results and shared responsibility for budget management accountable for resource planning
Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in banking, segmentation, product management, customer experience and customer transformation strategies.
Strong leadership and negotiating skills with experience partnering and managing cross-functional teams.
Strategy consulting experience a plus.
Self-motivated with the ability to think strategically to identify business issues with possible solutions to create competitive advantage.
Experience with competitive research and showcases knowledge in industries latest trends.
Ability to problem solve, sound business judgment, and result oriented.
Outstanding analytical, presentation and communication skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies. Leadership presence: commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders. Highly motivated and with enthusiasm for Financial Services industry and desire to master the business.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree a plus

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
