Job Description:

Position Purpose

  • Strategic business partner for sales, marketing, supply chain to drive growth agenda
  • Primary responsibility of the finance function for a Multi-market business

Key Responsibility Areas

As the head of finance and a member of the commercial board & PLT, responsibilities would include:

  • Guide the business to set near- & long- term business & financial goals in a complex environment by leading business plans, forecast updates and strategic plans
  • Support the PLT to make sound business decisions to deliver financial commitments compliantly
  • Partner with the leadership team to build a high compliance culture
  • Constructive challenge and look for value creating growth opportunities
  • Drive resource prioritization decisions to deliver sustainable growth, based on strong commercial acumen and long-term strategic considerations.
  • Provide transparency on financial performance to the leadership team and drive actions to deliver on financial commitments

Responsible for all financial statements of business

  • Ensure financial compliance and sox compliance by instilling effective controls
  • Ensure all reporting requirements by internal stakeholders, local authority met timely
  • Align and collaborate with all shared service providers to deliver the above
  • Be the primary contact person to the regional office and keep regional & global leadership well informed of major business / financial matters

Protect the company’s reputation by forming strong partnership with PLT, upholding the highest integrity and ensuring full compliance with HCC / FCPA and other J&J compliance standards

  • Ensure compliance with the J&J WW financial, HCBI, transparency and Business Conduct procedures and drive accountability throughout the organization
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Preferred minimum education:

  • University degree in Business/Finance/Economics with at least 10 years of relevant business experience, FMCG industry know-how is a plus

Preferred related industry experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading teams, also in collaborating with senior management, business and functional leaders
  • Proven financial and analytical skills, result and performance driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player mentality and collaborative working style
  • Excellent communication, influencing and framing skills
  • Exemplary leadership skills in creating high performing teams and developing people to their highest potential
  • Ability to work through complexity and ambiguity in periods of change
  • Strategic thinking / Customer orientation / market place knowledge / business acumen
  • Multinational company experience is preferable
