What You'll Bring:

  • BSc/BA Degree, preferably in Data Analysis or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience with SQL scripting and querying.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with other analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access or other Business Intelligence products.
  • Ability to prioritize workload accordingly based on clients’ requirements.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Python and Power BI knowledge is an asset

Impact You'll Make:

This position is responsible for Batch processing and assisting with data analysis and general IT support.

  •  Appraise, Setup, Process, Peer Review and Delivery of all Batch Jobs the team are responsible for.
  • Quality Control – Ensuring the quality of output and the service we provide remains at the highest possible level.
  •  As and when required, works with the IT Team on the various initiatives being pushed through to the team, on-boarding new products and procedures alongside some of the more minor releases.
  • Be a point of escalation for all complaints, queries, issues, and incidents working with external stakeholders as and when required.
  • Assists the Administrator III in monitoring systems to ensure that they are functioning properly and updated on a timely basis.
  •  Works closely with Customer Support Representatives in providing and maintaining subscriber access to production systems in line with the company’s system security guidelines and operating manual.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
