Job Description

As our Patient Experience Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted bridge between patients, families, and the care team. You’ll ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and supported—while helping the hospital continuously improve how care is delivered.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives on communication, empathy, and systems improvement and wants to shape the entire patient journey.

  • Trust between patients, families, and care teams

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a patient and family advocate, addressing concerns and removing barriers to care

  • Partner with clinical teams, departments, physicians, and leadership to resolve issues and improve experiences

  • Analyze patient feedback and HCAHPS data to identify trends and opportunities

  • Co-chair the Patient Experience / Engagement Committee

  • Promote service excellence using AIDET and best-practice communication standards

  • Support staff and physicians in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Additional Job Description

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical credibility

  • Minimum 5 years of hospital experience working directly with patients and families

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills

  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, and professionalism

  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused in fast-paced environments

  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills

  • A positive, accountable team player who leads by example

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Master’s degree preferred
