RAC Auto Services is expanding its fleet of Mobile Service Vans, and we're seeking qualified and experienced Mechanics/Technicians ready to take their skills beyond the traditional workshop. Be part of a team dedicated to supporting our members and community by working out and about-offering top-notch vehicle servicing and repair directly in our customers' neighbourhoods.

Our Mobile Mechanics operate in community "hubs" across ten metro-based service centres. We are actively recruiting throughout our entire network, with immediate opportunities available across our Perth network!

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Providing on-site vehicle service when members cannot bring their cars to our workshops-offering a "mini workshop on wheels".

  • Delivering quality customer service, offering advice, and presenting vehicle care solutions.

  • Conducting fault diagnosis, service, inspection, and repairs of light vehicles.

  • Maintaining detailed records: Vehicle information, parts used, services performed, invoicing, and part returns.

  • Keeping the mobile van clean and well-stocked to ensure efficient service delivery.

  • Assisting at RAC Auto Service canters as needed to help meet customer demand.

What Are We Looking for in You?

  • Trade Qualification: Light Vehicle Automotive Technician.

  • Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.

  • A C Class Manual Driving License.

  • Motor Vehicle Repair Licence (desirable).

  • Customer Service Excellence: Strong ability to communicate effectively and build positive workplace relationships.
