About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic part time Support Workers to join our team to cover weekend shifts for a specific service user based in Peterhead.

The successful Support Workers will support in a range of tasks such as; household tasks and maintenance of tenancy, personal care, support with medication, nutrition and activities. Our service user likes to complete activities such as…..

About Them:

Our service user has Mild learning Disability and Anxiety and when anxious may show signs of apprehension or worry. At these times may require staff support and reassurance.

When feeling particularly anxious or upset, she may increase the volume of her voice and show signs of frustration, staff must always follow the behaviour support plan to ensure both staff and service user are safe.

Support worker to work on a 1:1 basis, however on days out, visiting family members and appointment staff will be required to double up.

The shift pattern will consist of Late/Sleep/Early shift pattern which are as follows:

  • Early shifts 07:30-15:00
  • Late shifts 15:00-22:00
  • Sleepovers 22:00-07:30

For continuity of our service user this is the shift pattern we are offering.

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears- does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
