The Opportunity:
As a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with a passion for analyzing and integrating data, capturing new, valuable and actionable insights from complex datasets and designing optimized data structures, visualization and reporting solutions, you will be joining a high performing team tasked with supporting our customer’s modernization initiatives. This is a full time REMOTE opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document requirements from product owners and subject management experts.

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for the development and testing teams.

  • Analyze, document and gain a deep understanding of existing business and application processes and data.

  • Develop and maintain other documentation including user guides, standard operating procedures and presentation slides.

  • Drive continuous process and data quality improvements by analyzing and identify data and process gaps and work with customers and internal team to implement improvements.

  • Designs and develops data framework optimized for data analysis and reporting.

  • Support day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, developing and maintaining manual and automated Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes, data reconciliation, performing root-cause analysis and resolution of production data and report issues.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or related field of study.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

  • 8+ years Data Analyst experience working with complex, large volume data stored in Oracle is a MUST.

  • 2+ years of experience using Redshift and/or Aurora/Postgres in AWS.

  • 5+ years of Data Warehouse experience supporting all layers of the architecture from operational systems to end-user data mining, analysis, reporting and visualization tools.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Data Manipulation Language (DML) and Data Definition Language (DDL) scripts.

  • Possess excellent communication skills and a confident self-starter who works closely with analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.

  • Proven experience documenting business and technical requirements, including, but not limited to, Data Dictionaries, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Source-to-Target Mappings (STTM), user guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and presentation slides.

  • 2+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum environment using Jira and/or other agile tools.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving.

  • Passion for learning new things and solving new problems.

Desired:

  • Experience in an environment where data analytics and machine leaning are part of the enterprise architecture.

  • Experience migrating from Oracle to Redshift or Oracle and Aurora in AWS is a big plus.

  • Experience developing scripts using Python and VBA is a plus.

  • AWS certified Data Engineer.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
