Amplify is looking to hire a Regional Design and Delivery Specialist, STEM with a background in teaching, coaching, school leadership and/or professional development design and facilitation in Math, to join our professional development team for a one-year fixed term assignment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Our Regional Design and Delivery Specialists are responsible for customizing, modifying, and designing rich and rigorous professional learning experiences in Amplify’s literacy or STEM programs to ensure that all regional Professional Development (PD) delivery teams are prepared to confidently support customer implementation of Amplify products.
In this role, you will:
Design or adapt in-person, remote, and asynchronous professional development assets for teachers, instructional leaders, and district leaders so that they accurately reflect the different features of Amplify’s state-specific product editions and/or respond to regional needs
Support regional PD teams to deepen their understanding of and ability to contextualize PD to best meet the needs of their state-specific customers
Design and deliver internal onboarding and ongoing training for regional team members to support understanding of professional development session content and best practices for PD delivery
Design and review training experiences that are engaging and effective, incorporating various formats such as instructor-led sessions, interactive eLearning modules, virtual workshops, and content built utilizing activity-builder in the unified platform.
Model high quality delivery of professional development sessions
Regularly assess the impact and effectiveness of professional development assets by analyzing feedback from PD participants, regional team members, and Design, Training, and Development team colleagues
Incorporate feedback to continuously strengthen session content in order to ensure high-quality delivery at scale
Ensure professional development design projects are tracked in project plans and are completed on time, on budget, and to the delight of customers
As a member of Amplify’s Design, Training, and Development team, partner with PD Designers and support the onboarding and development of regional PD facilitators (Professional Learning Specialists)
Collaborate closely with Content, Product and Platform teams to understand upcoming program updates and releases and incorporate them into training programs and assets, as applicable
Support regional PD leaders to clearly and compellingly position Amplify’s PD offerings in RFPs
Travel onsite to deliver in-person training, conduct observations and meet with key stakeholders and team members, when needed
Support Amplify-wide and PD-specific priorities and other tasks as assigned by manager

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3+ years of PreK-8 classroom teaching experience
At least 2+ years of experience designing and facilitating professional development sessions for PreK-8 educators both in-person and online, at scale
Proven knowledge of adult learning principles and experience applying them when delivering learning experiences to adults
Strong knowledge around best practices for implementing a problem-based approach in mathematics instruction in order for students to meet and exceed rigorous grade level standards
Demonstrated proficiency with instructional and visual design
Proven time management skills when managing multiple tasks
Excellent skill and comfort with technology-based productivity tools, including Google Applications and video conferencing programs (Google Meet, Zoom, etc)
Able to travel for onsite and in-person meetings (approx 10%)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching and/or supporting the creation of or implementation of Amplify products
Experience facilitating Amplify professional development sessions
Experience using Adobe Acrobat, Canva and Wordpress
Demonstrated expertise with supporting diverse student populations (English Language Learners, Students with Disabilities, Gifted/Talented, etc.)
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $90,000-$105,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
