Job Title -Associate Director

Reporting to – Director

Location - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Leasing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies for retail and F&B portfolios in line with client objectives
  • Identify target brands, concepts, and categories to enhance tenant mix and positioning
  • Drive occupancy, rental growth, and revenue optimization

Business Development & Client Management

  • Source new opportunities from developers, landlords, and investors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and F&B brands
  • Provide strategic advisory on market positioning, concept curation, and leasing approach

Transaction Management

  • Lead end-to-end leasing transactions including pitching right properties, site tours, commercial negotiations, and closures
  • Structure deals including commercial terms, revenue share models, and lease agreements
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and asset management teams for deal finalization

Market Intelligence & Research

  • Track retail and F&B trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics
  • Provide insights on rentals, demand-supply, and emerging concepts
  • Support clients with data-driven recommendations and market reports

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Maintain a robust leasing pipeline and ensure timely closures
  • Track deal progress, maintain CRM systems, and prepare regular reports

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, research, and asset services
  • Liaise with developers, architects, and consultants on project positioning
  • Support junior team members and contribute to team performance

Key Requirements

  •  8 years plus of experience in retail / F&B leasing / commercial real estate brokerage
  • Strong network with retail brands, restaurateurs, and mall developers
  • Proven track record of closing leasing deals and achieving revenue targets
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of retail formats, mall dynamics, and F&B concepts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (MBA preferred)
