Sr. Associate, Business Intelligence and Reporting

The Sr. Associate, Business Intelligence & Reporting is a critical member of the Commercial Business Intelligence and reporting team.  The Sr Associate will be responsible for managing the evolution and the division’s Data Strategy, enhancing the automation of the tool and its output through innovative products and processes. Works with the broader MIS team and Business Stakeholders building and evolving datasets in support of management dashboards on performance, sales, operations and asset quality.  Evolves key reporting tools to keep outputs relevant to the business objectives.  

Collects, organizes and analyzes data sets to draw conclusions to maximize efficiency of internal operational processes, to manage risk, and to position the company to better serve clients through enhanced product and solutions offerings. Responsible for drawing insights from large sets of quantitative data. May use advanced analytics technologies, systems and software. Develops data-driven recommendations that support key business decisions across the company. Performs analysis and prepares forecasts and recommendations for product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Identifies intelligence needs of their designated business domain through one-to-one communications, conducting intelligence analyses, and performing market research and industry analyses.
Manages complex projects for the Business Intelligence department.
Partners with members of other groups and functions within the company to drive results.
Monitors fields of interest to the company, such as technology in the political/legal frameworks.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or Data Engineering

Work Experience:

9-12 years

Skills and Abilities:

Advanced technical skills which must include SQL coding language (MS SQL/Snowflake) Jira, Confluence, Github and ETL technology required.

Strong skills in creating meaningful reporting through Analytical Tools such as Power BI, Machine Learning and other innovated approaches.

Strong AFS Vision or Level III dataset knowledge would provide a competitive advantage over other candidates.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to make effective decision making on complex matters.

Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information/datasets.

Advanced knowledge of data management best practices, challenges, and approaches; metadata, data quality, and data stewardship.

Ability to comprehend processes and systems associated with data management; evaluate and understand business challenges; their technical implications, and potential solutions for implementation.

Self-directed, self-motivated and demonstrated experience providing ideas and solutions to further business understanding.

Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the business ensuring confidentiality and discretionary judgment.

Working Conditions:

Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$108,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$160,000.00 USD
