Job Summary:

The AP Coordinator will be responsible for accurate and timely reviews of daily check runs, special handling for check mailings and following daily deadlines and SLAs. The qualified candidate will have high attention to detail, be extremely accurate, and have excellent interpersonal skills. This role will work closely with the AP Analysts on Payment Reviews and serve as a backup for processing immediate payment requests.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily check review routing of incoming customer checks

  • Research, review and disburse vendors’ statements. 

  • Scan all incoming mail; research, review and route all NON PO mail.

  • Research, review and disburse returned checks.

  • Back up team members for A/P Immediate payment requests and processing while following A/P procedures and guidelines at all times.

  • Maintain excellent data entry accuracy for all processed invoices and perform work according to established policies. 

  • Maintain Accounts Payable service level agreements.

  • Complete additional projects and tasks  assigned by A/P Leadership

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education

High School graduate or equivalent.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).

Work Experience

Prior A/P work experience

Experience with high volume invoice processing

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

SAP knowledge

Familiarity with A/P cycle processes and account reconciliation

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$20.25 - $28.25 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
