A Day in the Life
The Marketing Director for the Surgical ANZ Operating Unit will lead strategic marketing efforts to drive growth and innovation, reporting to the Vice President of Surgical ANZ. This role involves formulating comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing product lifecycles, conducting market analysis, and managing stakeholder relationships. The director will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while managing budgets and leading a high-performing team. Main Purpose:
Lead strategic marketing initiatives for the Surgical Operating Unit in ANZ. Drive product innovation, and market expansion, and align business strategies with Medtronic's vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Medtronic's objectives to drive growth and market share in the Surgical sector.
- Product Leadership: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from planning and launch to market development, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements to existing products.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to gather insights and drive product adoption.
- Financial Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources to achieve profitability and strategic goals.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure all marketing activities comply with TGA & Medsafe requirements and adhere to Medtronic’s quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to ensure cohesive strategies and support account-specific marketing needs.
