Your New Role:
As a Senior Analyst in the dynamic HR Technology team, you'll specialize in Workday Product Management, focusing on compensation and compensation planning modules. You’ll leverage your expertise in product and project management, process design, and analytics to maximize system functionality and meet key business priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders to advance the company’s People and Culture strategic objectives and make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Product Management – As part of the product management function within HR Services, this position will support the implementation and continuous improvement of tools within HR Services and the WBD Workday solution

Have a client centric mindset to partner with stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities and develop/maintain a roadmap

Leverage the agile methodology to structure and plan product delivery and enhancements

Work with key stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements for system improvements and implementations

Support the ongoing functionality and maximal utilization of Workday product features to meet stakeholders demand and support key initiatives within Human Resources and HR Services

Support requirements gathering development of enhancements and testing of solutions

Manage defect resolution within the Workday product, analyze identified issues, assist in root cause analysis, and resolution with the Workday solutions and configuration team

Partner on change management, communications and training needs

Help to deliver on project/process documentation as part of transition of support to operations

Maintain a process and controls focus to help design, implement and/or monitor operational processes, as part of initial implementation or ongoing continuous improvement

Work with project teams to analyze and document existing processes and potential gaps

Facilitate and lead efforts in process design – identify improvements and potential solutions

Research new Workday functionality and releases as well as industry trends and best practices in HR and HR Services to support ongoing improvement and lead best practices

Project Management

Serve in a project management capacity for various HR Services projects/initiatives

Leverage project management tools and methodology

Lead teams and manage internal resources in support of PMO functions and operations

Perform other duties as required at the request of the Sr. Manager, Workday Product Management

Qualifications & Experiences:

    Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including process and systems development and implementation or compensation planning technical / operational support
  • 3+ years of project management or product management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience is required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools and ERPs/HRIS as well as data analysis using database, spreadsheet, reporting software.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools and ERPs/HRIS as well as data analysis using database, spreadsheet, reporting software.
  • Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to tailor communication and messaging with varying levels of the organization
  • Can be effective across disparate environments and work teams
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects effectively
  • Understands the functional and technical details, but can think strategically
  • Must have excellent time management skills to perform in a fast-paced, high pressure, high volume environment

   Other Requirements

  • Works well within teams and effectively facilitates work between them
  • Must be a process oriented individual – able to document and capture processes in narrative and diagram forms
  • Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity 
  • Must be solution oriented with the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
  • Must be able to reason through issues, resolve problems, and work well under time constraints.
  • Must be a motivated, confident self-starter

Not Required but preferred experience:

  • Operational experience with compensation and compensation planning preferred.
  • Studio/entertainment industry experience is a plus.
  • Operational experience in HR, Payroll, and HRIS is a plus.
  • Experience with Global projects is a plus.
  • Workday implementation or support experience is a plus.
  • Experience with JIRA and Service Now is a plus.
  • PMI, Agile certification, or other PM certifications are a plus.
