Your New Role…

The Senior Manager of Revenue & Strategy oversees ad sales revenue and operations for our Golf offerings. This role is responsible for coordinating efforts between various teams internally and externally to monetize all Golf assets and is directly tied to revenue growth and the bottom line of the Golf business at WBD.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Revenue Management & Commercial Strategy

  • Responsible for monetizing golf assets, including management and growth of the ad sales P&L.
  • Maintains an overall understanding of, and contributes to the strategic positioning of the brand in the marketplace through new partnerships, distribution channels, and development of consumer-facing assets.
  • Responsible for deal approvals and implementing efficient processes for positive impacts on both revenue and operations.
  • Has a comprehensive understanding of the movement of every dollar throughout the pipeline from pitch to closure.
  • Collaborates with the VP of Sales to set ambitious targets and create strategic initiatives to consistently exceed goals.
  • Leads current year and long-range forecasting, and monitors and analyzes revenue performance, as well as emerging market trends, to identify areas for improvement and growth.

 Sales Strategy & Partnerships

  • Drives global sales strategy by building, maintaining, and optimizing models.
  • Onboards new products and strategic partners to provide sales with more outlets to drive value.

Business Development

  • Structures, evaluates, and negotiates partnership terms for business development deals.
  • Delivers value beyond ad sales including equity investments, barter, in-kind marketing, and reciprocal membership benefits.
  • Works cross-functionally with all other business leaders and partner.

Pricing, Packaging, & Revenue Operations

  • Develops global inventory pricing and packaging strategies for media assets across all revenue streams: digital, print, social, podcast, events, and licensing.
  • Oversees all revenue operations, including a team of contracted media planners, traffickers, ad product, and analysts.

Reporting & Systems Administration

  • Delivers month-end forecasts for the accrual to Finance and Accounting, serving as the point of contact for all questions around revenue management for golf assets.
  • Serves as golf’s Salesforce Administrator, setting up and maintaining an ecosystem for financial forecasting and revenue recognition.
  • Executes all commissions reporting for the Sales team on a quarterly basis.

Internship Program

  • In charge of the programming and development of the Golf Digest Commercial Strategy intern program.

Qualifications & Experience… 

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, with a working knowledge of pricing/packaging, planning and inventory management.
  • Salesforce Administration and P&L management experience required.
  • Client-facing interaction and account management experience required.
  • Deep understanding of digital news consumption trends, emerging technologies, and the evolving media landscape.
  • Cross-functional experience with management of both internal and external teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and executing models and revenue growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences including executive stakeholders.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $94,850.00 - $176,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
