The Client Facility Manager (CFM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of complex facilities within a designated precinct. This includes providing expert advice, coordinating maintenance resources, and managing a team of maintenance staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. The CFM must align maintenance solutions with client needs, comply with relevant regulations, and continuously seek ways to improve team performance and service quality.
Responsibilities include:
Adept at building strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Demonstrated operational excellence in overseeing maintenance operations, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Ability to contribute effectively to strategic planning, budget development, and project management.
Proven leadership skills, coaching, and performance management for the maintenance team.
Knowledge and Technical expertise in facilities management, maintenance practices, and building systems.
Communicate Effectively with stakeholders, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure transparency in operations.
Organisational Relationships :
This position reports to the Senior Client Facility Manager, who in turn reports to the Associate Director, Campus Operations. This position manages the Client Facility Coordinators.

Have relevant tertiary qualifications, extensive industry experience, or a combination of both.
In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and asset management.
Experience in managing maintenance projects and contracts.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial resources.
Proven skills in building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in leading and developing teams.
