  • Base salary will range from: $111,154.58 - $124,619.84 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8

The Client Facility Manager (CFM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of complex facilities within a designated precinct. This includes providing expert advice, coordinating maintenance resources, and managing a team of maintenance staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. The CFM must align maintenance solutions with client needs, comply with relevant regulations, and continuously seek ways to improve team performance and service quality. 



Responsibilities include: 

  • Adept at building strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction. 

  • Demonstrated operational excellence in overseeing maintenance operations, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. 

  • Ability to contribute effectively to strategic planning, budget development, and project management. 

  • Proven leadership skills, coaching, and performance management for the maintenance team. 

  • Knowledge and Technical expertise in facilities management, maintenance practices, and building systems. 

  • Communicate Effectively with stakeholders, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure transparency in operations. 

 

Organisational Relationships :

 This position reports to the Senior Client Facility Manager, who in turn reports to the Associate Director, Campus Operations. This position manages the Client Facility Coordinators.

About you: 

  • Have relevant tertiary qualifications, extensive industry experience, or a combination of both. 

  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and asset management. 

  • Experience in managing maintenance projects and contracts. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial resources. 

  • Proven skills in building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders. 

  • Experience in leading and developing teams.
