The IAM Developer provides subject matter expertise and advisory services to protect an organization's IT and network infrastructure, data, and information systems from security threats. Assists in developing, evaluating, and implementing an Identity Access Management solution for a Fortune 100 company.

What You Will Do: 

  • Participates in developing, coding, and testing Identity Access Management features for multiple projects.

  • Mentor team members in developing their skills while assessing, designing, and developing features and processes.

  • Participate in preparing technical and procedural documentation required in application system development.

  • Create process flow diagrams as you develop new features and functions.

  • Contribute solutions for programming system operations, including testing, debugging, and documenting programs.

  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure robust solutions are deployed to meet business partner objectives.

What You Have:

Core Application Systems:

  • Knowledge of Java backend and Bean Shell coding, experience in coding and supporting an Identity Provisioning and Governance application using modern software (such as SailPoint, Okta, ForgeRock, Saviynt).

Problem Solving:

  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Application Design, Architecture:

  • Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of an Identity Access Management system; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools, and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.

Implementation:

  • Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: identity/account provisioning, access reviews).

Requirements Analysis:

  • Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

System and Technology Integration:

  • Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications (LDAP, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, etc.), databases (MySQL, Snowflake, DB2), and technology platforms (Windows, Linux).

System Testing:

  • Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.

Additional Info:

  • The primary location for this position is Nashville, TN, Irving, TX or Peoria, IL.

  • This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance 3 days a week.

  • Sponsorship is   NOT available.

  • Relocation is available domestically.

Education / Experience:  Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
