Job Description Summary:

This position serves as a resource to assist the department manager and associates in a coordinating and liaison function. May communicate instructions, scheduling, and inspect work. does not, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise, but may be consulted by higher management in these areas. This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum while collaborating with the health care team. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the state statutes. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPN's) and unlicensed assistive personnel, including but not limited to Special Event Paramedic and EMT, using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
