For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the SAP Consultant – FI role.

Purpose

SAP is the core of our enterprise business systems, and its ongoing health and evolution is essential to the strategic business and technical drivers of the firm.   We have a challenging and exciting roadmap including cloud migration and transformation in S/4.  This is coupled with large pieces of BAU SAP enhancement work which progress alongside the landscape changes to meet ongoing business needs.

We are seeking an experienced consultant to significantly assist in this exciting part of the SAP functional journey.  

The successful candidate needs extensive knowledge in SAP Financials and proficiency in the organisational management area of HCM, to design robust and comprehensive business solutions which are fit for purpose and cost effective.

As well as excellence in consultancy and delivery of SAP solutions, excellent communication is a critical factor in the role, and the consultant needs to be able to discuss business needs and present possible option to non-technology stakeholders.  Close interaction with technology colleagues such as project managers, business analysts, testers and architects is also key.

Expectations of the role

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, verbally and in writing

  • Explain problems, ideas, solutions in business-friendly language

  • Deliver all relevant elements of full life cycle for each piece of work

  • Produce excellent documentation, and share knowledge

  • Report and escalate appropriately for all work items

Experience

  • Excellence in SAP FI-CO processes and proficiency in HCM organisational management.

  • Full range of consulting skills including requirements, data analysis, process design, solution options/design, estimating, specification, configuration, UAT and production support.

  • Understanding of related Linklaters modules (HCM, FICO, PS, CAT-S, CRM)

  • Interfacing SAP to other SAP systems (eg via EDI) or external systems
