What you'll do: 

  • Maintain inventory of Loblaw resources, coordinating with other DC’s, as required
  • Coordinate and track maintenance reports and requirements, ensuring safeties and required maintenance has been completed
  • Responsible for Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental audits, ensuring all requirements are completed throughout the audit year, and participating in audit meetings with Compliance Manager
  • Ensure Loblaw resources are equipped with functioning units or other applicable technology or systems
  • Maximize trailer staging and parking, ensuring all staging zones are maintained by shunt drivers; coordinate with 3PL carriers to remove trailers if required
  • Document and investigate unreported damages
  • Ensure all spills in yard are cleaned up as needed
  • Coordinate dunnage movement and trailer washing program
  • Attend JHSC meetings

What you bring: 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various individuals, from upper management to drivers 

  • Ability to work in multiple systems and applications, with a quick ability to learn 

  • Teammate, who is willing to assist others when needed 

  • Above average decision making skills 

  • Strong customer service skills 

  • Prior experience in a transportation environment is preferred
