As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.

• In charge of the inbound supply chain of an JIS production plant
• Plan, Forecast, Schedule and Release supplied material demands to meet our production requirements
• Use ERP System (SAP) as the Primary means of creating, monitoring and communicating schedules, inventory quantities, releases and forecasts
• Point of contact for domestic and international suppliers
• Responsible for empties and return shipments to the vendors
• Follow-up on delivery timing and expedite the material as needed through line delivery
• Supports other departments with supplier development and evaluation
• Initiate and follow up with vendors, carriers and customs authorities - daily, hourly, off shifts as required

Requirements for Job Holders

• Logistics/Supply Chain Diploma/Degree preferred or 3+ years’ experience working with Suppliers/Inventory Control/ Customer Service or a combination of education and experience
• Ability to work in a team as well as working independently
• Automotive experience highly desired
• Ability to multi-task/prioritize work with little supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent mathematical skills, good computer skills and attention to detail
• Experience with SAP R/3 preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
