Our Newest Opportunity:
This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of retirement plan operations, contributing
to smooth plan administration, accurate data management, and exceptional client service.
This position will help with plan documentation, fees, compliance deadlines, and participant
education initiatives, collaborating with internal teams for successful plan implementation
and client service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to):
· Assist with preparing quarterly investment management documentation under the
guidance of senior team members.
· Learn and apply fee analysis and benchmarking practices to contribute to optimized
plan performance.
· Develop basic plan review meeting materials to support client communication,
collaborating with senior colleagues.
· Track key dates and events for clients and advisors, including fund changes, notices,
5500 filings, and compliance deadlines, with guidance from the team.
· Assist with plan amendments and recordkeeper fund changes under supervision.
· Review retirement plan invoices for accuracy and learn the approval process.
· Update fee and service agreements for plan sponsors under the guidance of senior
associates.
· Support new business and lost business processes by assisting with data entry and
ensuring accurate submission and monitoring.
· Provide general support to advisors and clients by resolving basic administrative
issues and directing complex inquiries to senior team members.
· Compile basic fund line-up proposals for clients, considering investment options and
fees under the guidance of senior staff.
· Assist with communication related to fund or plan changes, keeping clients and
advisors informed.
· Schedule and follow up on client meetings under supervision to ensure effective
communication.
· Participate in RFP due diligence research tasks under the guidance of senior
colleagues.
· Assist with planning and scheduling participant education sessions, including enrollment meetings. · Conduct research and develop basic communication materials to promote participant education initiatives, collaborating with the team. · Learn and manage reminders to clients regarding fiduciary and financial academy opportunities. · Update Salesforce data related to plan design, contacts, and marketing distribution with oversight from the team. · Manage personal productivity in Salesforce and contribute to team success. · Support the implementation of Workplace to Wealth strategies, working with the team.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
· Emerging understanding of ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices in the
retirement plan industry.
· Demonstrated capacity to build and document processes and procedures.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
· Proactive and results-oriented approach to client service and business development.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
· Continual learner mentality, able to adopt new solutions and help respond to the
impact of new systems.
· Must be able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive client information,
including personnel and financial data.
· Regular and predictable attendance is required.
· Business travel up to 25%.
Education, Training and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred), or
relevant work experience.
· 2+ years of experience in retirement plan operations or a similar role.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
